Award: Overcoming Adversity Award
Winner: Sam Alderson Location: Kent
For Sam even making a cup of tea is difficult. His determination to face life head on, with a smile, makes him inspirational for the cricket team he played with and now coaches. Sam now believes in himself, never gives up, is determined to help other young people, showing them that if he can do it, they can. Cricket is a tool to change lives for the better – Sam is the embodiment of that.
